These kids have the traits that famous geniuses have, like: risk taker, creative/out of the box thinker, perseverance to overcome obstacles, a dreamer/confident and inventors. It is so cool because even though they had a people that thought that they were CRAZY, they just ignored the negative voices and focused on their passion (playing/watching soccer). I think it was so awesome that they had the idea to build their own wooden field because they didn't have any room to play or practice on their tiny, floating island. In the video the camera man focused on a nail bent and sticking up ready to puncture one of those innocent kids that have a dream. It hurts because, like I said, I am big with making a difference and to see how those children have grown up in such a poor country breaks my heart, what is even more inspiring is that they don’t seem to mind or know that they live in poverty.
In the video the boys have a tournament and they were killing it, but at the next game the weather was not being very kind to them because it was a total downpour. Trying their best was good to keep the score tight but the boys noticed that if they want to win they had to do something. The kids decided to take off their cleats, socks and shin pads and started to play exactly like they did back home. They played like pros.
I got the meaning out pretty fast. The video wants you to know that even though people say you can’t, ignore the negative voices and follow your dream/passion and never look back.
“Whatever challenges you face in life, if you think you can make a difference we say you can.”
